Exclamation New Songs and Our First EP

Just an update:

Andy and I are working on a few new songs in the next two weeks so that we can have some small EP's to sell during the February shows, along with our t-shirts.

The completed studio recordings should soon include a song Andy wrote, Looking Back, as well as a slow acoustic song cowritten by the both of us called Goodbyes, and a bluesy-southern-rock song I wrote entitled Everything You Are, which will feature a buddy of ours on the harmonica.

Those three are the furthest along, but we have about two or three coming into play soon as well. We should have a 4-5 song EP, "Cocktails & Consequences" available in early February on the website, as well as iTunes, and at our shows for $5.

I'll post more updates as they come along. We're excited to have you hear the new stuff soon!

After many delays, we've made some changes (for the better). We knocked out our first gig, took a bit of a break to pursue personal endeavors, and now we're back trying to complete some new goals...

1) Cocktails & Consequences has changed from the 5-song EP that it was originally intended to be, and will instead be a 8-10 song covers compliation with an original or two in there for good measure. All of the covers will be free to the public, available for download in our Merchandise section early next week. If anyone would prefer the full CD, complete with the originals, we'll sell it for the cost of shipping, or throw it in for free with any t-shirt purchase. We just want you all to hear what we have, and enjoy our music!

2) Shift Happens will be the first all-original album, whether a 6-song EP, or a full length LP, we're working on it diligently, but giving the songs enough time to develop, and getting a few guest musicians involved to explore some different sounds. We have about 10 songs on the line-up so far that we're going to chose from, and the ideas, lyrics, and melodies just keep flowing out like water! I can't wait to assemble this album together, record the tracks, and get some mastering done for us!!

Some of the songs can be previewed in their acoustic forms on my music myspace page:

...it actually just looks like you made a statement and surrounded it by "****" on each side.

Just a quick update... Andy and I tallied up our current "In Progress" song projects, and we have a total of....

*drumroll*

15 songs we need to finish! *GASP!*

We're really excited about getting these songs recorded in hi-fi and hi-quality, and letting them develop along the way. We have a bunch that we're really fond of and excited to play for yall. Keep an eye out.

Oh, and I challenged myself as well as Andy to have one of the new songs done enough to debut next Thursday at Bay House Pub. BE THERE!
