Shifting Midnight is an up and coming rock band that hails from Mobile, AL. Featuring Kevin and Andy who met as coworkers after Kevin moved down from his lifelong home in Northern Virginia. Andy has been living in the area for 4 years now and moved here from Louisiana playing in a local band there.

The two have just recently started to play around the Mobile area at various gigs, playing an assortment of originals and their favorite cover songs. Whether it's an all acoustic song, or a rock-out-with-your-guitar out featuring electrics, the two try to mix things up some, and get the crowd into the music.

It's in the works! A lot of our fans (Both of them) have asked when we're going to add something to the jukebox or when we're playing our next gig. Well we're working hard with quite a few new originals. And I would love to post them right now but I want to make sure we don't rush it and give you a good tune to listen too. Be patient. Website security! OK, the website security with registration has been improved. We've had some recent issues with spam. Didn't realize we were important enough to catch spam. The Loudness War! Well with the release of Metallica's new album "Death Magnetic", the loudness war rages on. The war needs your assistance! I'm sure you've read or heard about the "Loudness War". Well, this subject has gone nuclear. Some of the more vocal people from the Metallica BB have put their money where their mouths are and started a website/forum focused on the loudness war and what it's doing to music. It's barely over a day online and it is getting a rave response. This is where you guys come in. Please stop in and register for the site. Posting a few times would be EVEN BETTER!! They allready have some music industry people working with them in the shadows and they plan to blow this up as big as possible. Even if nothing changes, they want to educate the public about this issue. I wasn't as aware of it till Death Magnetic came out and a good friend brought it up (Thanks Scott). Stop by and register. Another Fun Few at the Bay House 8-14-08 Went out on a school night again where Jon Maddox usually rocks the Bay House. Jon Gratiously lets us bogard his gear for a few songs. Our gratious 3 song set somehow lasts 30 minutes, LMFAO, sorry Jon, but we had a great time. Took us like 16 measures before we remembered the first words to Alabamalace, Ahhh, feaux paw!! Quick Pickup @ the Bay House Kevin was out on 7-24-08 runnin the local scene at the Bay House where Jon Maddox was playing. Jon let Kevin jump up and do a few songs with a guitarist Jimbo and drummer Clay and rocked out a few songs. That's the crap you love to see on a work week night.
